House Details;

Located in Howard Colorado about 3 miles up Cherry Creek road.  Address is 279 Bremer Rd, which is .4 miles off Cherry Creek Road on neighborhood maintained roads.  Not visible from the road, as it is down a treed 300' driveway.  The home is located in the trees with views of the mountains from each of the guest buildings. We chose the best views we have on the property and built a guest building/studio etc to enjoy the views.  House is located below the Twin Sister peaks.  House has a shingle roof in good condition. Windows appear they are original single pane  Inside of home has paneling in a style that grew on us quickly and we couldn't bear to paint it as is in great shape.  We learned quickly to appreciate the charm of the older aesthetics of the interior. All function as is and you can update if desired but we love the cabin feel.  We bought new fridge, propane cook stove and washer when we moved in 4 yrs ago. Water heater also replaced shortly after we purchased.  Comes with a 500 gallon propane tank which is owned, not rented(remaining propane in tank included in purchase price).  We heat this home almost exclusively with the propane heater located in living room.  This heats the whole home, cheaply, easily.  We spend around $1000 once a year to top off the propane tank, this includes usage for cook stove.  Home also has electric baseboard heating throughout the house that is fully functional though we've rarely used them due to ease of using the propane heater.

The Arkansas river is 3 miles downhill with Mountain Home Veterinary clinic and Riverside cafe at the end of the road for convenience.  It's 25 min from our door to center of salida for easy commute. Or alternately 50 minutes to Canon City. Can be available with most all furnishing in pictures as we're not taking much with us. We can discuss this further if offer is accepted.
